AMC’s The Walking Dead has proved yet again that it is not out of fuel just yet as the show has entered the Top 3 with the premiere of its latest season, leaving Rick and Morty behind. The Walking Dead saw a 32.9% increase in demand as the show had 53.1 times more demand than the average TV series in the United States in the month of August.

Rick and Morty has now fallen down to the fourth spot after seeing a 29.7% decrease in demand since the premiere of its latest season in July.

The most surprising entry in this list comes with DC’s Titans which has quickly gained more traction than any other American superhero series during the month of August with a whopping 44.6 times more demand than an average series, gaining about 28.6% increase in the last 30 days.

Ted Lasso has also seen a 33% increase in demand with the show making its way into the Top 10 as its sophomore season inches closer to its conclusion.

The latter half of the list comprises some big names such as Stranger Things and Game of Thrones. Both of these shows have always been consistent and quite dominant on Parrot Analytics’ list and are currently occupying the 7th spot with 44.4 times more demand than an average television series.

The list also includes long-running veteran TV shows such as Saturday Night Live and Sesame Street in the Top 10 as they continue to score huge demand among the US audience. Saturday Night Live has now moved to the Top 5 showing 44.8 times more demand than the average television program.

Another anime that has continuously been in the spotlight and in Parrot Analytics’ Top 10 list throughout the year is Attack on Titan, the anime enjoyed a long and extremely popular run at the top for the better part of the year and is currently the 11th most popular TV series in the United States. Attack on Titan has 37.6 times more demand than any average show.

The popular anime has been the only TV show that has been able to dethrone Spongebob Squarepants from the top this year and is also one of the very few titles to ever break over the 100+ times more demand figure during its run.

The list also sees the return of a fan-favorite series as American Horror Story has re-entered the Top 15 with the debut of its latest season, American Horror Story: Double Feature.

The Flash, however, has dipped a bit in terms of demand, but it still seems to be outdoing its Marvel competitions following its recent season’s Netflix debut.

Loki takes the final spot on the list but has continued to impress as its the only show on the  Parrot Analytics Top 15 which has less than even 10 episodes under its belt and ranks among the likes of The Flash, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and American Horror Story, all of which have more than 100 episodes each.
