Attack on Titan Season 4: War for Paradis releases Key Visual & New Info

Attack on Titan has released another Key Visual for the upcoming Part 2 of Season 4 during a special event featuring the cast of the series to commemorate the anime’s final season.

The Attack on Titan anime is fast approaching its end with Part 2 of Season 4 of Attack on Titan aka The Final Season premiering on January 9, 2022. The series will be streaming on Crunchyroll and Funimation across the world on the same day. 

Part 1 of Season 4 started airing in December of 2020 and took the world by storm with the series constantly trending worldwide every week throughout its run. The series even crashed Crunchyroll and Funimation with the premiere of Season 4. Attack on Titan was also the third biggest show in Japanese streaming services for the first half of the year according to GEM Partners.

The Attack on Titan manga began its serialization in 2009 and has over 110 million copies in circulation. The series ended its serialization in April this year. The Final Volume came out in June and sold over 819,000 copies within just three days.

The hype surrounding the anime and the series’ end even gave the manga a huge boost as it is currently the 4th Best-Selling Manga series of this fiscal year in Oricon with over 7.15 million copies sold. The Attack on Titan manga also held the record for Kodansha’s Best-Selling Manga within a fiscal year since Oricon first started keeping track until this year. Tokyo Revengers surpassed it and broke Attack on Titan’s record selling a whopping 20 million+ copies since the start of the anime in April.

Attack on Titan Season 4: The anime was one of the Most Popular TV Shows of 2021.

The Attack on Titan anime aired its first episode in 2013 and quickly began a global phenomenon. Attack on Titan wasn’t just a huge hit among anime fans but was also insanely popular among the general TV-viewing audience throughout the world who had never even seen an anime. It also became a gateway for many people to get into anime.

The series didn’t return with a second season until 2017 causing the hype and excitement around the anime to die down drastically but with the series’ pivotal Return to Shiganshina arc and Attack on Titan Season 4, the hype surrounding the series now seems to have surpassed anything and everything we have ever seen among the global anime community.

The anime series is one of the biggest and most-talked about shows of the year on social media and was even the Most In-Demand TV Show in the United States during the first half of the year according to Parrot Analytics

WIT Studio did the first three seasons of Attack on Titan before stepping down in 2019. MAPPA is doing the fourth and final season of the beloved anime.
