SPY x FAMILY has remained the Most-Watched Anime and TV Show on Japanese Streaming and VOD Services. The anime has been on top for the last fourteen weeks and has been leading amongst both the male and female demographics by a large margin.
SPY x FAMILY has been the Most Popular Anime on Japanese Streaming for almost four months now.
SPY x FAMILY has caught the eye of everyone, even the casual anime fans. The hype surrounding this series has been insane, with the anime quickly becoming one of the biggest new anime to have come out in recent years. The series has been insanely popular not just in Japan but also globally.
The anime’s success has resulted in the manga series selling more than 5 million copies this year already in Japan. And even in the USA, the manga has been one of the Best-Selling Graphic Novels and Comics during the past few months.

One Piece continues to deliver consistent and quality episodes week after week and has now climbed to the second spot on the list. The series is also the first anime to have taken the first spot in the teenage demographic in over ten weeks from SPY x FAMILY.
Kingdom and Detective Conan also continue to be consistent as they take the next two spots on the list, respectively. The Kingdom anime has been immensely popular among both the younger and older audiences in Japan as we move into the latter half of the fourth season of the beloved seinen manga.
Overlord Season 4 and Made in Abyss Season 2 are the Most Popular Anime of Summer.
After a four-year-long hiatus, Overlord returned with Season 4 last month, and the series has quickly become the Most-Watched Anime from the Summer Season in Japan. Overlord is the Fifth Most Popular Anime overall in Japanese Streaming and VOD services right now.
Meanwhile, the critically acclaimed dark fantasy hit from 2017, Made in Abyss, has also returned with its Second Season this summer and is currently the Sixth Most Popular Anime in Japan right now.
The anime has been garnering heaps of praise this season as well, picking up right from its emotionally astounding and heartbreaking first season.
