Tom Holland has reassured fans that he’s recovering well after suffering a concussion on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and production is now set to resume Monday as originally planned.

The actor shared an update on Instagram while promoting a gala for The Brothers Trust, the nonprofit run by his parents. In his caption, Holland wrote that he’s “feeling better and on the mend,” noting that he had to leave the event early but was grateful for his dad stepping in.
“The Brothers Trust means more to me than I could possibly say,” Holland wrote. “Another huge success — raising money for fantastic causes and having fun doing it! I’m sorry I had to leave early but I’m feeling better and on the mend. A huge thanks to my Dad for taking over after I left. The show got considerably funnier.”
Filming on Brand New Day was briefly paused after Holland’s injury, but cameras will be rolling again starting September 29. According to Sony, the short delay will not affect the film’s planned July 31, 2026 release date.
The new installment kicked off production in Glasgow on August 10, with Holland suiting up as Spider-Man to film a large-scale stunt involving a tank. In a behind-the-scenes video, the actor admitted that returning to the suit felt “different this time” and said it was exciting to perform in front of fans from day one.
