The Flash Season 8: The Show would No Longer be Airing on Tuesdays

After the five-episodes long crossover event, Armageddon, The Flash Season 8 will be taking an almost three-months long hiatus and will return on March 9, 2022.

With this return from an extended midseason hiatus, the show will be moving to Wednesdays. This marks the first time since the premiere of the show back in 2014 that the show has shifted to another day and will not be airing during Tuesdays.

The show’s Tuesday Primetime slot will be given to Superman and Lois which will return with its Season 2 the week following the conclusion of the Armageddon crossover. While maybe there is not much to read into, this could be a sign that The CW is finally embracing the future and its new lineup and it might be a beginning of the end for The Flash.

Meanwhile, The Flash’s Armageddon Crossover is shaping up to be more interesting than many had first anticipated.

We recently got the first trailer for The Flash Season 8 featuring the upcoming crossover event where Barry is racing against time in order to save the world (usual crossover gimmick, although for The Flash, it kinda is a weekly occurrence).

But this time he alone can’t save the world and will be needing the help of his super friends.

The crossover event which is set to unite the Arrowverse’s Justice League once again is said to still remain The Flash episodes at heart and will be having more than plenty in store for the fans of the Scarlett Speedster.

One of the biggest highlights of this upcoming crossover is the hype surrounding the latest addition to the titular hero’s suit.

After eight seasons’ worth of wait, The Flash fans as well as Grant Gustin are finally having their wish granted. Barry Allen aka The Flash is finally getting his golden boots.

The Flash Season 8: Grant Gustin gushes over the Golden Boots.

Grant Gustin gushed on finally getting the golden boots for his character, Barry Allen, during the DC Fandome event. During the event, Grant talked about how he has wanted these golden boots for a long time in the show.

He expressed his love for every iteration of the suit talking about the journey they have taken to get to this point where their suit is very close to what we see in The Flash comics. He quoted the golden boots as “the final element that had been missing” as he finally has that one last much-needed touch to the suit.

The five-part event crossover titled, Armageddon, will take place with the first five episodes of The Flash Season 8 which premieres on November 16 on The CW.
