Black Panther: Wakanda Forever sees Shuri taking the mantle of the Black Panther in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the citizens of Wakanda mourn the death of their king, they are met with a threat from the outer world. The Boys Season 3 and Ms Marvel are Rotten Tomatoes’ Best Superhero TV Shows of 2022.

Meanwhile, when it comes to Superhero TV Shows, The Boys Season 3 and Ms Marvel are both tied for the Highest-Rated Superhero TV Show of 2022, with both earning a Tomatometer score of 98%.

The Boys Season 3 was the best outing of the series so far and delivered the standout season of the show. The series has always been a bold political satire, but this season, the political elements truly blurred the line between our reality and the reality within the show, and it was horrifying to see the parallels between them. Erik Kripke has done it all so cleverly and audaciously that it must be praised.

The Boys also remains as great of an action drama as it was, probably even better this season with the addition of Jensen Ackles’s Soldier Boy into the mix and the deeper emotional connection to the show’s characters it manages to build. Definitely one of the Best TV Shows of the Year.

Meanwhile, Ms Marvel was a refreshing dose of coming-of-age superhero story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that was both lighthearted and enjoyable.

The series had a decent mix of fresh cultural elements alongside a sweet blend of family dynamics. Iman Vellani did a great job as Kamala Khan and was just utterly charming and loveable. Ms Marvel was definitely the Marvel Show to watch this year.
