USA vs England: USMNT displays massive grit by dominating England

The USMNT delivered a night to remember in FIFA World Cup 2022 as they completely dominated England and earned a hard-fought point.

The USMNT boys put in a massive shift as they restricted England to their own half for most of the game, with even Harry Kane barely getting any touches inside USA's penalty box.

After a stunning 6-2 win against Iran, England has been given a reality check, with their attack looking sloppy again and barely any sort of a threat throughout the game.

Meanwhile, the Americans were full of energy and kept effectively pressing the English high up the pitch and mustered ten shots in the game.

England manager Gareth Southgate will be under massive scrutiny as he refused to sub in Manchester City's Phil Foden despite the lack of creativity upfront.

England were nervy throughout the match, but Harry Maguire delivered a superb performance to bail them out of trouble ever so often.

Christian Pulisic was given Man of the Match for his brilliant performance today. Pulisic always looked threatening going up and came the closest to score in the game.

Tyler Adams and Weston McKennie also looked ever so lively throughout the match as the team played high intensity and a high energy match throughout.

The USMNT will be looking to qualify for the knockouts with a win against Iran on Tuesday. And seeing them play today, we have all the reason to believe they could.
